As a Certified Reflexologist, Shannon Brisson has over 320 hours of study in Reflexology, including specialized training in Oncology and Reflexology; and PTSD and Reflexology. She attended The New England Institute of Reflexology and Universal Studies in Watertown and is a member of the Massachusetts Association of Reflexology. Shannon is President of the Massachusetts Association of Reflexology (MAR) for the 2015-2107 term and represents MAR as a Delegate at the Reflexology Association of America.
Shannon’s approach to Reflexology is fluid, rhythmic and gentle; following a process protocol which addresses each body system and is enhanced by her previous training as a massage therapist. Her clients come from a variety of backgrounds, degrees of wellness, and range in age from 5-85 years old. She is passionate about bringing mind body services to special populations and organizations like Lucy’s Love Bus which serves Pediatric Oncology patients and their families and There and Back Again which serves combat veterans challenged with PTSD and TBI’s.
When not practicing Reflexology, you will find her playing with her young children, making art, knitting and sewing.
