Covid-19 Policies
Clients are welcome, but not required, to wear face masks while at Bodyography. Our therapists will continue wearing face masks.

Our waiting room is now open. You are welcome to enter Bodyography as soon as you arrive.

We have a large hepa air filter running 24 hours a day and a smaller hepa air filter in each room. Treatment rooms are disinfected between clients. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

New Client Information
Welcome to our Wellness Center and thank you for choosing Bodyography! We offer a wide range of services at competitive prices. Contact us today to set up an appointment and experience the healing effects of Massage Therapy, Acupuncture, and Reiki for yourself. We require all new clients to fill out a Client Intake Form. In consideration of our environmentally-sensitive patients, we ask that you refrain from wearing perfume or strongly scented oils/lotions during your visit. To preserve the relaxing atmosphere of the Wellness Center, we ask that you keep the volume on your cell phone low while in the waiting area and turn your cell phone off during your treatment.

Appointments
We encourage you to schedule appointments in advance to reserve the desired time you prefer. If you are scheduling for multiple people, please give us as much advance notice possible to coordinate practitioners.

First-timers – We will email you, as part of your appointment confirmation, our client intake form. If you prefer to fill out a paper form, you can do that when you arrive at Bodyography (please allow extra time for this) or you are welcome to download the appropriate form from our Forms page to fill out in advance.

Early-birds – You are welcome to wait in our waiting area, but we request that you arrive as close to your appointment time as possible to minimize waiting.

Late-comers – If you arrive late, Bodyography will make every effort to provide you with the full session scheduled; however, if the practitioner’s schedule does not permit this, please understand you will be charged for the full session scheduled. If the practitioner is late, the full session scheduled will be provided.

Missed Appointments and Cancellation Policy – Bodyography confirms all appointments in advance to allow you the opportunity to cancel or reschedule to avoid conflicts. If you do miss an appointment, you will be charged 50% of the session price. Clients who chronically cancel late or no show will be charge the full session price. Our Wellness Center requires a 24-hour notice to cancel an appointment. Please understand that a lost appointment is equivalent to a loss of income and that someone else may have been denied a treatment. We understand that on rare occasions unforeseen circumstances arise and you may have to cancel without the 24-hour notice. If this happens, please respect our time and speak with your practitioner as soon as possible. They will make the decision regarding charges for late cancellations. Please reschedule your appointment if you are sick. You will not be charged a cancellation fee if you become sick within 24 hours of your appointment and, therefore, are unable to honor our cancellation policy.

Weather
In the event of inclement weather, we will contact you regarding cancellations. Typically, though not always, if Melrose schools are closed, we will be closed as well. If we are open, but you do not feel that it is safe for you to travel to us, please let us know and we will be happy to reschedule your appointment without charge.

Parking
Street parking and municipal lots are available within close proximity to our Wellness Center.

Payment and Insurance
Payment is expected at the time of your visit. Bodyography accepts cash, checks, Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express as forms of payment. There is a $25 fee for any returned checks. Please note, we do not accept or bill insurance companies, but we are happy to provide you with documentation to submit for reimbursement, if applicable.

Personal Property
Please keep your valuables with you while visiting our Wellness Center. Bodyography and your practitioner cannot be responsible for your personal property while you are visiting our Wellness Center.

Acupuncture
This office uses only individually wrapped, sterile and disposable needles. Attire for acupuncture should be comfortable and relaxed. It is best to wear loose, comfortable clothing as acupuncture sessions involve palpation and treatment of various parts of the body. If you need to change prior to your treatment, please allow extra time. Draping will be provided to ensure modesty. Please refrain from wearing excessive jewelry as some metals may interfere with the efficacy of the treatment.

Multiple Session Discounts
Discounts of roughly 8 – 12 % are available when you purchase a series of 4 or 6 sessions. Series are offered for most services at Bodyography. Series may be used for different services (e.g., you may use your series for massage and acupuncture), are non-transferable, and may not be combined with any other offer. Series discounts expire one year from the date of purchase. Any remaining value may be used toward a session or toward purchasing a new series.

Gift Certificates
Gift Certificates are available in any denomination of $20 or more. You may purchase Gift Certificates online, in person at Bodyography, or over the phone with a credit card (phone purchases will be mailed).

Referral Bonus
If you refer a new client to Bodyography, you will receive a coupon (via email or U.S. mail) for 20% off your next appointment once the referred client has had their appointment. If you have requested no mail, we will not send the referral bonus, but you may request it when you call to schedule your appointment.

Pricing
All prices are subject to change without notice. Gratuity is not included in the pricing.
